Absolutely delicious smash burger and fries. Service with a friendly smile. If you're not in the mood for Mexican food in Old Town San Diego this is a great alternative. Price was great as well.

The lil Schulte was massive and I couldn't stop eating everything. All of the bonehead items had a maple sweetness to them that normally I don't love, but it definitely worked with every item. The sweetness plus the bacon and onion really didn't make it overbearing. The portions are huge and the food was delicious. I would definitely go again if I'm in the area.

10/10, I recommend. Buns dipped in beef tallow so they never broke apart or got soggy. Fries cooked in beef tallow, so they had great flavor and crunch. Meat was nice and seasoned, veggies fresh and crisp. My husband swears I hype places up but he's my biggest hater so don't listen to him.

Shout out to Ernie for these bomb ass burgers!!!! He made our believe in boneheads alive again!! His burgers were like the first time my toes curled!! They were like the first time I've had it!! They have beer here too not to mention they have Arizona and Jumex hard liquor!! Their draft beer is a variety so there's something for everyone. They have TV's and play music that fits the vibe!! This is our new favorite place!! The service was awesome and quick. They have indoor and patio seating. Some even with a fire pit to keep warm. There's street parking but also a parking lot next door for parking!! Recommend the bonehead burger and an aloha or jumex!! They have soft drinks as well in case you don't drink. Also the old town location is open on Monday and Tuesday!

Good burger.................................................................................................................. Weird sauce. It has curry undertones. Order it plain, no sauce, and then put your condiments on it like mustard..... the way a hamburger should be.

This is a gem in old town! You walk right up the deck and order at the window. The service was 10/10. My bf and I ordered The Kenny and a side of regular fries. The gentleman brought them to where we were sitting and pointed us in the direction of any additional condiments and napkins if needed. The outdoor seating was simple and cute. It felt like we were in a friends backyard. The burger was great and the fries were well seasoned. We want to come back to try their smash burger tacos, then sounded amazing!

These gents make a very good smash burger. Like they say, "it's all in the smashing" which is so true in these guys get it right. At this Old Town Urban Market location, I had the Kenny B classic but I doubled on the meat. Both patties were very well prepared with the signature crispy ends to a thicker and tender center. The was not only well prepared, but it was lightly seasoned and very tasty. The single burger cost $8 and the additional patty cost $4. The burger was pretty simple. It came with toasted artisan buns, pickles, American cheese, and Bonehead sauce. I added fresh white onions to the mix. All the ingredients went well together and tasted good. The service was friendly. This location offers plenty of seating.

We didn't know where to go and then I just read that Bonehead opened a location in Old Town. Finding it was a bit of a challenge, but we managed. Really glad they moved over here cause I could never get down to the Barrio Hub. Friendly worker, we ordered two Boneheads and shared an order of fries. Dang those burgers were so good! And the fries were nice and crispy! One of the best burgers in San Diego! They also do smashed tacos! What a cool concept! That will have to wait until next time! There's ample outdoor seating. We were there at night but I'm sure during the day, it's really nice. Though eating burgers in a "boneyard" was actually cool! Cako Approves!
